It's a Book . . . It's a Shrine

It¹s a Book Shrine!: Students will make 3 shrines that look like books and fit inside of each other. They can have a central theme or be totally independent of each other. We will glue, paint, cut, stamp, bead, and decorate the shrines in the class. You will be provided with plenty of ideas, techniques, and instructions. Students should bring any memorabilia such as photocopies of family pictures, and any small objects to put inside the shrines. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron; this could get messy but will be LOTS of fun! The instructor will provide boxes of "stuff" for everyone to dig through to find treasures for their shrines. No previous stamping or collage skills necessary.
